    About Us

Our firm practices exclusively in the area of construction law and, everyday, we strive to meet the varying needs of construction professionals working throughout Georgia.  Since 1992, we have successfully handled many types of matters including construction contract negotiation and drafting, default and terminations issues as well as payment issues involving materialmen's liens, payment bond claims, Miller Act claims, and complex construction litigation.  We actively represent many AGC members in all aspects of their businesses, and our clients ranges from owners and project developers, general contractors and specialty subcontractors as well as suppliers.  From our two physical offices and online, we work on all types of private and public works projects throughout Georgia as well as surrounding states. We are active in the AGC Georgia Chapter serving on the Legislative Committee and on the drafting committee for the 2020 revisions to Georgia's Lien Laws; we are also active with the National AGC serving on the contract drafting committee including, most recently, working on the draft of the COVID-19 rider.

We are not a general-practice firm; instead, we are a boutique firm focused on the needs of the construction industry.  More importantly, we are a law firm with high personal values steeped in honesty, fairness, and diligence.  We build and maintain relationships with our clients, and we provide experienced business counselors who understand your legal rights and obligations as well as your business and its economics. Regardless whether you face a licensing issue, construction contract negotiation, litigation, arbitration  or need to file a materialman's lien or payment bond claim, we are there to help you.  With an office in Atlanta and another one in South Georgia, we work on our client's behalf throughout the state and across the southeast region.
